Dr. Phil Questions Parents That Support 31-Year-Old Son: ‘Help Me Understand What It Is That’s Driving You To Continue To Do This’

          VIDEO

          March 11, 2018

Jim and Karen say their 31-year-old son, Kyle, is violent and they want him out of their house. They claim they have filed a restraining order against him and even had him arrested for criminal trespassing, but say Kyle still hasn’t moved out of their home.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Have a Volatile Teen, Parent or Sibling?

The parents admit that they support Kyle financially, clean up after him and allowed him to move with them to a different state – even after they claim he has attacked them both physically and makes no effort to contribute to the household.

In the video above from Monday’s episode of Dr. Phil, Dr. Phil questions the couple about how they may be contributing to Kyle’s behavior.

“At what point is enough enough, and too much too much?” Dr. Phil asks. “Help me understand what it is that’s driving you to continue to do this.”

How do Karen and Jim respond? And, hear what Jim says he did every day for nine months to ensure that Kyle would get his nursing degree.

On Monday, hear why Kyle says he still hasn’t moved out. And on Tuesday, Jon Taffer, star of the popular TV show “Bar Rescue” and author of the new book, “Don’t ******** Yourself, Crush The Excuses That Are Holding You Back,” offers advice to Kyle and his parents.
