Dr. Phil Tells Woman She’s Right To Protect Her Kids From Alcoholic Grandma: 'She is Toxic, And She is Dangerous'
Kristin says her mother, Marna’s, alcoholism and attention seeking behaviors ruined her childhood and continue to disrupt the family even now. She says she cut Marna out of her life three months ago. On Friday’s episode of Dr. Phil, Marna admits she’s a chronic alcoholic who also abuses prescription drugs. She says she’s been arrested for multiple DUIs; served a year in prison for embezzling from an employer, lied to her daughter, Kristin, and most recently - stole from her own fiancé to keep up the deception that she was working.
