Dr. Phil To Grieving Mom: ‘As Difficult As It Is, You Celebrate The Time That You Had Lincoln’

          VIDEO

          May 1, 2017

Roxanne Lewis-Randall says she still hasn’t accepted the loss of her son, Lincoln. In July 2016, the Oklahoma toddler died from “a non-accidental blunt force trauma of the head” that doctors told her had fractured his skull from his eyebrow to his spine. The 19-month-old’s death was ruled a homicide and his mother’s boyfriend, Bert Franklin, a 35-year-old dentist from Tulsa has been charged with first-degree murder. He denies killing the child. His trial is tentatively scheduled for September 2017.

“As difficult as it is, you celebrate the time that you had Lincoln,” says Dr. Phil to Roxanne. “And if every time you think of Lincoln you cry – then his legacy is pain.”
