Paige, 23, says that after she and her girlfriend got kicked out of their apartment, she left her then 18-month-old daughter with her parents, Lance and Nancy. She says they then started living in a car because her parents refused to allow the woman to move into their home.

Nancy claims Paige has always had dysfunctional relationships but says her daughter just hasn’t been the same since losing her second child in 2017 only 20 weeks into her pregnancy.

Paige, who admits she hasn’t really grieved the loss of her baby, has moved back in with her parents while her girlfriend is in a treatment facility. She says she’s willing to live in the car again just to prove to Lance and Nancy how much she loves her girlfriend.

“That tells me you’re undervaluing yourself,” says Dr. Phil.

Telling Paige her priorities are upside down, he continues, “The formative years with your daughter, are now.”
