Criminal defense attorney Don Knight and paralegal Meri Wright claim critical new information may prove their client, death row inmate Richard Glossip, is innocent, but time is running out. Glossip, who insists he was falsely accused and convicted of soliciting his co-worker Justin Sneed to murder Oklahoma City motel owner Barry Van Treese in 1997, has been an inmate on death row in Oklahoma for 23 years. He has been granted a stay of execution on three separate occasions in that time – the last of which was in 2015 due to concerns about the state of Oklahoma's lethal injection protocol.

Death penalty proponents Oklahoma State Representative Kevin McDugle and 2020 Oklahoma State Senate candidate Justin Jackson say they are questioning the case against Richard Glossip.

“We’re hoping for a new investigation,” says Jackson.
