On Friday’s episode of Dr. Phil
, Dr. Phil introduces Dr. Jennifer Smirnoff, a licensed professional clinical counselor and cognitive behavioral therapist, who offers her suggestions for the family.
“I would definitely want to work with Jody and Mike together on parenting skills, and maybe, I’m hearing some need for anger management skills,” Dr. Smirnoff says. “I’d also want to work one-on-one with Michelle and help her work on things that a typical 14-year-old needs to work on — better understanding herself, figuring out who she is, her values, her ethics, her morals, what she wants in life, what is she interested in.”WATCH: Why A Father Says He Got Into An Explosive Altercation With Daughter’s Boyfriend
