Ed’s family claims he’s had a dramatic shift in personality ever since he started using medical marijuana to manage his pain after neck surgery in 2019. They say he’s had manic episodes, quit his job in the aerospace industry, left his wife and kids, disowned his parents, and eventually moved to Nevada, where he is currently living in a motel.
“He wanted to put the past behind him – all the negativity, all the sadness,” says Ed’s niece, Jessica.
Ed claims the cannabis he smokes not only helps his pain but enhances his creativity. When he says, “God put marijuana on this planet. It’s something that should be embraced and not shunned,” how does Dr. Phil respond?
