Rollo Tomassi is a blogger, author, YouTube creator, and author of the 2013 book "The Rational Male", which has come to be considered the unofficial bible of the manosphere. He claims that the ideas promoted by Andrew Tate -- a former social media personality who was banned because he violated policies --  are often a derivative of his teachings. However, Tomassi explains that Tate and others have “distorted” his words.

“I’m going to go and do my best to help men,” Tomassi says. “I am not in the business of helping men become better men; I’m in the business of helping men have the tools and the equipment so that they can build their own lives.”
