Dan and Katie are grieving the death of their daughter, Samantha, who committed suicide in October 2016. The couple says they believe she would still be alive if she had never met her boyfriend, Jonathon, who they claim controlled and isolated her.

“When Jonathon showed up, she became subservient and quiet,” claims Dan.

“Before Jonathon, Samantha knew who she was and what she wanted,” claims Samantha’s stepmother, Katie. “She started becoming more and more isolated. If I was having a conversation with Samantha, Jonathon literally took over.”

Jonathon, who was in a relationship with Samantha for two years, vehemently denies controlling and isolating her or playing any role in her death.
