Lisa says her 9-year-old daughter, Makenze, engages in extremely destructive behaviors, like head-butting and hitting adults, harming animals and other children – even trying to hurt herself. Makenze has been diagnosed and treated for everything from A.D.H.D. and O.D.D (Oppositional Defiance Disorder) to Disruptive Mood Disorder, says her mother – and, she’s been prescribed numerous medications to manage her symptoms.

But, says Lisa, a recent MRI indicated there was nothing physically wrong with her child’s brain.
