Kayla Laws says at 24, she took private photos of herself to document that moment in her life. She says three months later, she realized the images were stolen when a coworker told her the photos were posted on IsAnyoneUp.com, a well-known illegal dissemination website.
 
“It had one photo of me topless, and it had my name, my social media, my city – how people could find me,” Laws says.
 

Laws says she called her mom, Charlotte Laws, and together, they made it their mission to take down this website, known as one of the most notorious illegal dissemination sites of all time. But it wasn’t easy. Hear what happened in the video above.
 
“It was hard, because society was very big on victim blaming,” Charlotte says. “It was an uphill battle all the way.”
