Scott Weed’s wife, Ana, was shot and killed by their neighbor, Hector Campos, on January 24, 2017, in what Weed describes as an act of revenge. Although the neighbors had reportedly been feuding for months, Campos claims the shooting was self-defense after he says Ana and her dogs attacked him.

In the video above, Weed recalls what he says happened the day his wife was killed. He says that after hearing what sounded like a gunshot, he looked outside from his upstairs window.

“I see my wife laying on her back sprawled, and my neighbor had just gotten there. He has a gun and I see him pointing it toward Hector, so I ran back to my room and got my own gun, cocked it, got down,” Weed says. “I went to the front yard where she was on the side. And I honestly didn’t know what to do.”
