Cassandra and Julia say they were working in a Connecticut bar in 2013 when they met and learned they both had been adopted from the Dominican Republic.

“We hit it off right away. From that point on, we were sisters. We were twins,” Cassandra says.

Cassandra says when she started to search for her birth family, she took a DNA test. She says because she and Julia had so much in common, she convinced Julia to take a test as well.

In the video above, the women share how they learned that they are biological sisters.

On Wednesday’s episode of Dr. Phil, “DNA Surprises,” learn what happened when the sisters met their biological father and what their relationship is like with their biological family today.
