‘I Believe That He’s A Real Person,’ Woman Insists About Online Boyfriend Despite Evidence To The Contrary
Nancy insists that her online boyfriend of a-year-and-a-half, “Shaun,” is the "light" of her life. She says that once he gets enough money to leave Dubai – where he says he has been stuck since traveling there for work – she will meet him in person.
Nancy’s son and daughter-in-law, however, say they are certain Nancy has been catfished – and that despite showing her evidence, Nancy won’t listen to them.
“You’re smart enough to recognize irrefutable, concrete evidence when you see it, and you’re choosing not to acknowledge it,” Dr. Phil says to Nancy. “This person simply doesn’t exist.”
See Nancy’s reaction in the video above.
On Wednesday's episode, “Catfish Controversy: A Mom and Son Face Off!” Nancy and her son speak face-to-face for the first time in over a year. And find out a secret Nancy’s son has been hiding from her about “Shaun.” Check local listings to see where you can tune in.
