Ralph is an 80-year-old widower who admits he’s exhausted his retirement savings by sending “Louise,” who he met online, over $150,000 without ever having met her, video chatted with her or spoken to her on the phone. He insists that “Louise” is real, but his son, Dan, and daughter-in-law, Laura, say they believe Ralph is the victim of an online scam.
