Twenty-four-year-old Cheyenne is a college student who says she cooks, cleans, pays the bills, and is her 56-year-old mother, Cindy’s, sole caretaker and means of financial support. She says Cindy has never worked and doesn’t contribute to the household.

“I feel exhausted all the time,” says Cheyenne, noting that she feels “emotionally manipulated” by Cindy. “The situation angers me,” she adds.

Cheyenne’s boyfriend, Blake, says, “Cindy carries a negative energy. She definitely is mooching off of Cheyenne.”

Blake says he wants to propose to Cheyenne but doesn’t want Cindy ruling their future.
