Nickalas is facing murder charges in the 2017 deaths of his younger sister, 2-year-old Desiree, and 11-month-old stepbrother, Nathaniel. According to autopsy reports, the children, who were killed three months apart, were both smothered. Nickalas reportedly confessed to detectives, telling them that he had saved his siblings from “Hell and the chains of fire.”

“He is definitely troubled, and that’s what I want people to understand is that - up until all this had happened – he had not been like this,” says Christina, claiming that she didn’t notice any behavioral issues with the now 14-year-old prior to the deaths of her daughter and stepson.

“I have never seen my son be violent,” claims Christina. She insists that Nickalas has always been “fun-loving, loveable, and helpful.”
