The sisters say their mother’s first fell prey to the scammer when she was most vulnerable, following her divorce from their father four years ago. They claim that not only has Karla been conned out of $100,000, but that she’s also been convinced she’s married to Perry and shares biological children with him.
Karla, who acknowledges never having met the actor face-to-face, says that the person she believes to be Tyler Perry claims that her daughter, Kelly, is his child.
“Do I believe that Kelly is his child? Yes,” she says, adding, “I just want a family.”
