‘I Think It’s A Game He Believed He Was Winning Until His Arrest,’ Says Reporter About Alleged Killer Bryan Kohberger
Bryan Kohberger, a 28-year-old Ph.D. candidate in criminal justice and criminology at Washington State University, has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary in connection with the quadruple murder of four University of Idaho students on November 13, 2022. Kohberger was arrested on December 30, 2022, at his parent’s home in eastern Pennsylvania.
Following the arrest, classmate Ben Roberts told cable news network NewsNation that Kohberger “had to make absolutely sure that everybody understood that he was smart.”
She says that Kohberger’s reported belief that he possesses a superior intellect may have led to the alleged killer making mistakes.
Part one of this two-part Dr. Phil,“Eerie Details About the Idaho Murders Suspect,” airs Thursday. Then on Friday’s conclusion, “Idaho Murders Suspect: Childhood Details Revealed,” Dr. Phil talks to Kerri Rawson, daughter of Dennis Rader, the infamous serial killer known as BTK. Rawson talks about the similarities she has observed between her father and Kohberger.
