‘I Think They Treat Me Like A Child And It’s Getting Really Old,’ Says 14-Year-Old About Her Parents

          November 9, 2017

Jody and Mike say they are at odds with their 14-year-old daughter, Michelle. The parents say claim Michelle is defiant, a pathological liar and calls them names. They claim she uses drugs, drinks alcohol, runs away habitually and is dating an 18-year-old man.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Have a family drama that needs Dr. Phil’s help?

Michelle says she runs away because her parents won’t let her see her boyfriend, Paul – and if they would treat cher like an adult, their relationship would be better.

“I think they treat me like a child and it’s getting really old, honestly,” the teen tells Dr. Phil on Thursday’s episode.

“Why do you run away?” Dr. Phil asks.

“Because they treat me like [expletive] all the time,” she replies.
