Monica and Jessica are identical twin sisters who say they are alike in every way – except politically. When Jessica, who is a Republican, decided to run for local political office, Monica, a Democrat, says she decided to run too. The sisters say they’ve figured out long ago how to make their relationship work.

“We love each other unconditionally,” says Monica. “The last I checked, we were living in America, and I have the right to my views, and she has the right to hers, as long as we don’t infringe on someone else.”

Watch the video above to hear how Monica and Jessica say they learned at a young age to handle their disagreements.
