Sixteen-year-old Meredith, says she’s not addicted to marijuana, but her parents, Bill and Jen, claim she and her 18-year-old sister, Emma, each smoke “weed” four or more times a day.

The couple also claims their teenagers lie, steal, joy-ride, and have become violent with various family members, including one another; saying that’s caused a lot of chaos in their family.

In part two of a two-part episode airing Thursday, Dr. Phil tells Bill and Jen he’s referring their girls to separate residential treatment facilities to work on their individual behavioral and substance abuse issues.

“If you cared about me you wouldn’t send me anywhere,” says Meredith to her mother, protesting her parents’ decision to have her attend Center for Discovery, a residential treatment center.
