Lisa says she spends all day, every day “walking on eggshells,” doing everything she possibly can to keep her boyfriend, Ted’s, incapacitating anxiety at bay.

“When Ted’s anxiety is high, it is completely chaotic,” she says, adding that, “Everything causes him anxiety.”

“I’m the best at being stressed,” says Ted.

Lisa says the mood in the household is dependent on how Ted’s anxiety is on any given day and that it is affecting her, their kids, and even the family dog. She says she wants Dr. Phil to tell her what more she can do to make things better for Ted. Tune in to Thursday’s episode, ‘“Imprisoned by My Anxiety,”’ to hear his response.

And later, Ted says his anxiety is so debilitating that it has robbed him of almost every joy he has in life.

The new season of Dr. Phil starts Monday. Check your local listing for viewing times.
