Lois says her fiancé, “Paul,” who she has never met in person, is stuck in Nigeria while he takes care of wrapping up his deceased uncle, “Andrew’s,” estate. She says “Paul” claims his uncle left him a little over $2 million, and that once he has the inheritance, she’ll never have to work again. Dr. Phil sent an investigator to Lagos, Nigeria to locate the law office listed on “Paul’s” uncle’s will.

“I did not have any luck finding the lawyer or the law office,” says the investigator.

“It’s just all made up,” says Dr. Phil to Lois about the lawyer, the law office, and the uncle’s will.

Meanwhile, Lois says “Paul” told her he needs $2,300 to get back to the U.S., but she doesn’t have the money and wants to know if Dr. Phil can help her to bring him home.
