
‘It’s Just Ignorant To Joke About Having Coronavirus,’ Says 22-Year-Old
Many young people have gone against the rules put in place to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, saying they believe they won’t get the disease, or if they do, it won’t be a problem. In fact, a social media “influencer” licked a toilet seat as part of a coronavirus challenge – and then claimed he had the disease, only to admit later that he was lying.

Amy, 22, admits she made jokes about the virus on social media – until she contracted it.
“It’s not a joke once you get it,” says Amy, adding that she thought she was going to die. “It really impacted my friends. It really impacted my family … At this point, it’s just ignorant to joke about having coronavirus.”
