‘It’s Scary,’ Says Woman After Watching Dramatization Of Her Boyfriend Admitting To Domestic Abuse
Brittany claims her boyfriend, Tim, is physically abusive toward her, which Tim admits. In this clip from season 11, Dr. Phil shows the couple a dramatization in which a Dr. Phil staff member uses Tim’s own words to detail the domestic violence in their relationship – but the scenario is presented with a twist.
“It’s scary,” says Brittany after watching the performance. Trailing off, she adds, “It seems normal for it to happen, but when I see it that way …”
Watch the video above to find out what the scene included and how Tim responds.
If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic abuse, contact the National Network To End Domestic Violence at www.nnedv.org, or call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233).
