Kala Brown made national news in November 2016 when she was rescued two months after disappearing. The 30-year-old claims she was abducted by suspected serial killer Todd Kohlhepp who chained her by her neck, arms and legs and kept her in a pitch-black metal storage container on his isolated South Carolina property. The young woman claims Kohlhepp would rape her multiple times a day and was convinced the two would fall in love.

Despite what she says were horrific conditions, Brown says she had the will to live because she knew she would be rescued one day.
