Steve says he and his estranged wife, Carrie, used to live the high life, driving fancy cars, taking luxury vacations and shopping for designer clothes. But he says that changed when they moved to the suburbs and his wife started drinking.

“It seemed like life was one big party to her,” Steve says. “Her life spiraled out of control.”

He claims he had to leave his high-paying job to be more accessible to their two children because Carrie was “so focused on drinking.”

“She was unable to function as a mother,” Steve claims. “Although Carrie was there physically, she seemed to have abandoned the family and the children, mentally, for many years … She seems like a shell of herself.”

Carrie has been to rehab numerous times, has gained over 100 pounds and currently lives with her parents two hours away from the children.

“Carrie has treated rehab as somewhat of a vacation,” Steve claims. “She will come back home and go right back to drinking.”
