Charles says that even though his wife of 12 years, Sally, has left him 19 times, he’s desperate to save their marriage.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Marriage on the rocks?

“Sally's trying to find a way out of our relationship, and I'm trying to find a way to hold it together,” he says. “I'm being victimized. I feel like I am being manipulated and used, just to keep her stable in her life.”

Sally says she’s been “living in hell” for the past 12 years. “If I had to rate my marriage on a scale from 1 to 10, I would say a negative 3,” she says.

Sally claims Charles has been abusive and psychologically controls her, and says she’s done. “Charles is a total drama queen. He thrives on attention,” she says. “I just don't want this anymore.”

Charles, however, claims that Sally is a liar and the stress she has put him through is affecting his health.

“Much to my chagrin, Sally is dating another man, and it makes me physically weak,” he says. “My heart has been taken out of my chest and being crushed right in front of me. She acts like I don't even exist.”
