Man Says He Needed ‘Push’ From Dr. Phil To Overcome Decades-Long Marijuana Dependency
When Stuart met Dr. Phil in season 20, he admitted he had a decades-long dependency on marijuana, couldn’t go anywhere or do anything without first getting high, and claimed that he needed to be "stoned" in order to function. Facing health concerns, Stuart and his wife, Renee, came to Dr. Phil for help overcoming his addiction.
“I needed the push,” says Stuart, who went to Westwind Recovery after his appearance in 2022. “I’m proud now,” he tells Dr. Phil in the video above. “You gave me new breath.”
Tune into Friday’s episode, “Dr. Phil Changed My Life,” to hear more about Stuart’s journey to sobriety. Check your local listing for airtimes.
