“Things get out of control, and I’ve had to restrain her, put her in a headlock, sit on her. I’ve pulled her hair just to get her under control,” says Cydney, claiming Dakota has hit, slapped, and punched her in the face.
Dakota claims when she was small, both Cydney and her father, John, were addicted to drugs and often left her in the care of her grandmother. She says she acts out now because her parents never taught her right from wrong.
Dakota claims growing up, her mother, Cydney, and father, John, were drug addicts who didn’t teach her right from wrong. The 16-year-old, who currently faces two misdemeanor charges that could send her to juvenile detention, admits to smoking marijuana every day, skipping school, and doing what she wants – when she wants. She openly refers to herself as a “rebel” who doesn’t listen, and “could care less about what any authority has to say.”
Cydney says she’s given up trying to discipline her daughter, who she claims to be afraid of. “I have to restrain her, so she doesn’t beat me up,” she says.
