Mom Recounts What She Says Happened When 5-Year-Old Daughter Disappeared At Park
On the afternoon of September 16, 2019, Noema Alavez Perez says she took her 5-year-old daughter, Dulce, her 3-year-old son, and her 8-year-old sister to a gas station to get ice cream. After, they went to Bridgeton City Park in New Jersey. That’s where, she says, Dulce disappeared while playing with her brother.

“When we got here, both of my kids went running towards the park with their ice cream, and my sister stood with me at the car,” Noema says.
She says she and her sister could see her kids until they went to play on the swings, which were out of her sight line. She says after about five or 10 minutes, they went to search for Dulce and her brother.
“I just walked towards the park, and I found my son crying, just standing there,” Noema says.
