Mom Whose Twin 13-Year-Old Died In 2005 Due To ‘The Choking Game’ Shares Update
Sarah says her twin 13-year-old sons, Samuel and Gabriel, were playing “The Choking Game,” which encourages children to strangle or suffocate themselves until they blackout, when Gabriel died. Three months later, she spoke with Dr. Phil, when she says it felt like her life was over.
“My relationship with Samuel fell apart,” Sarah recalls. “Dr. Phil said something that I will always remember and that was the way that Gabriel died should not be his legacy.”
On Thursday’s episode of Dr. Phil, “Shedding Light on ‘The Blackout Challenge,’” Dr. Phil and Robin share how Sarah’s story affected their lives. And, hear from Sarah’s daughter. Check local listings to see where you can watch.
