Mother Of Missing Woman Says She Believes Her Daughter 'Was Abducted By Someone That She Knew’
Laurie Depies was 20 years old when she vanished without a trace from the parking lot of her boyfriend, Marc’s, apartment building 26 years ago.

Marc eventually married, but his marriage ended a decade ago. “Even though I’ve been alone since 2009,” he says, “a big part of me feels like I’ve been alone since 1992.”

Continuing, he says, “To this day Laurie’s disappearance affects me because I’ve had no closure whatsoever.”
Laurie’s mother, Mary, says “I really believe that Laurie was abducted by someone that she knew, and we have to find that person.”

Marc claims at the time of Laurie’s disappearance, Mary blamed him for failing to protect her daughter, but she says she doesn’t remember.
“During that time period I was not myself,” she says, adding, “I was just totally numb.”
