Jonelle’s family says she has been verbally and physically attacking them ever since her father unexpectedly died last year.

“I think my rage escalated because I lost my best friend,” says the 13-year-old, noting that she never got to say goodbye.

Conceding that her behaviors have been out of control since her father’s death, Jonelle, who lives with cystic fibrosis, says she often feels overwhelmed and admits that she lashes out when she doesn’t get her way.

“There’s one part of me that’s like a perfect angel. Then there’s another part of me that’s like, ‘I hate everyone,’” says the teenager who claims she isn’t able to control herself. “Trust me, it is a nightmare.”

“I don’t want to live like this anymore,” says Jonelle to Dr. Phil in the video above, adding, “I don’t know what to do.”
