Parenting Expert Says Kids Shouldn’t Have Any Privacy With Their Internet Access
Parenting expert Donna Tetreault says that technology should not be a right for teens – but a privilege. She says that parents must educate kids before they go online, and set boundaries and rules to follow – and that parents must enforce the rules.
In the video above, Tetreault offers advice to Cheryl and her husband, Danny, who claim their 17-year-old daughter, Becky, was addicted to talking to men online in video game chat rooms and that’s where she met and fell in love with a 21-year-old man whom she has never met in person. They say that even though they took away her cell phone, webcam and computer, Becky still has found ways to contact him.
