Parents Claim Daughter Shows Signs Of Stockholm Syndrome Because Of Boyfriend

          VIDEO

          May 23, 2017

Marcy and Scott say they believe their daughter, Danielle, has Stockholm syndrome from her boyfriend, Justin. The couple says their talented hula-hoop performer daughter had a lot of potential until she met Justin, who they claim has taken away her self-esteem.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Is unbelievable drama dividing your family?

“Justin is 110 percent a narcissist. Justin is verbally, emotionally, financially and physically abusive to my daughter,” claims Marcy, alleging that her daughter told her Justin punched her in the face and gave her a black eye. “He’s controlling. He’s a sexual deviant.”

Danielle says Justin has only been physical with her if she starts it and that he has “detained” her until she calms down.

Scott claims Justin is also a compulsive liar. “If his lips are moving, he’s lying. He told me he was a CEO of a music production company which doesn’t produce anything,” he claims. “Justin does use Bible scripture and her faith to manipulate Danielle. He claims that God speaks to him and that’s the direction that they should go in.”

In the video above, hear more from the parents, including why they say they have “major concerns” about Danielle’s safety.

On Friday's episode of Dr. Phil, hear from Danielle. What does she say about her relationship with Justin? Check here to see where you can watch.
