‘Sam Can Do Better’ Says Mom Who Claims Her Daughter’s Boyfriend Treats Her ‘Like A Doormat’

          VIDEO

          December 19, 2016

Samantha and her 3-year-old daughter live with her parents, while her boyfriend, Kaleb, lives and works more than two hours away. Samantha says she would like to move in with Kaleb, but Samantha’s mother, Lisa, says she doesn’t like the idea.

“I don’t mind that Kaleb comes over to be with the baby – but I don’t feel that he needs to have a relationship with Sam,” says Lisa. “I don’t like Kaleb and I think Sam can do better.”

Lisa claims Kaleb treats Samantha “like a doormat,” doesn’t give her any money to support their daughter, and doesn’t spend enough time with his child.

“As a 25-year-old, I feel I’m doing the best I can do. I am a good dad,” says Kaleb.

Samantha also says Kaleb is a good father to their little girl. “He plays with her, makes her laugh and smile. She adores him.”

Does Lisa say she thinks she’s too critical of her daughter’s relationship and parenting? What steps do Samantha and Kaleb say they are taking to realize their dream of a future together? Most importantly, what’s in the best interest of their child? Dr. Phil’s asks his guests some tough questions on Monday’s episode.
