Kayla, Kristle, and Patrick claim growing up, their mother, Sherry, was absent for a lot of their life. They claim she dropped them with their dads, and there were months and years that they would rarely see her. They claim that Sherry is now abusing drugs and alcohol – a claim she denies – which they say got worse when her husband died a year ago.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: "Dr. Phil, please solve our conflict!"

“My mom thinks that nobody has lived a hard life as tough as she has, and that’s her excuse for her addiction and her problems,” Kristle says. “It’s the blame game with her.”

Sherry says her husband was her “everything.” “When I lost him, I lost me, too,” she says. “My kids constantly tell me I can only grieve for him for so long. They don’t have the right to tell me when I can and cannot grieve for my husband.”
