Sports Gambling Influencer Says Sports Betting Is ‘Fun,’ And A ‘Way For People All Over To Connect’
Trell says that he has been sports gambling for three years and has started creating online content about it. He says he has amassed over 40,000 followers – and online gambling doesn’t deserve the bad rap it’s getting.
“I really believe that sports betting is a way for people all over to connect. I have a group chat that I’ve built over 10,000 members in it that chat in there every day, talking about sports, talking about sports picks.” Trell says. “It’s something that I really enjoy doing, and I think it’s something that’s fun for everyone to really connect with each other.”
On Friday’s episode of Dr. Phil, “For the Love of the Game?” Dr. Phil discusses the legalization of sports betting and if sports fans are taking their “love of the game” too far by online gambling. A man who says gambling has “kicked my ass,” a podcast host who advocates for sports gambling, a former compulsive gambler, and a professor who has studied the gambling industry and addicts, all weigh in on this hot topic.
