In March 2014, 5-year-old Jordan Bleimeyer made headlines as the boy held captive in what some called the “Harry Potter Closet.” Alerted to Jordan’s plight by his older step siblings, authorities rescued the child who had been starved and forced to stay inside a small closet under the stairs of his parents’ Houston-area home. Reportedly, he weighed just 29 lbs.

“It’s something no child should ever, ever have to endure,” said Jordan’s biological mother, Windy, in an exclusive interview with Dr. Phil in 2014. “I think those people are monsters.”

Windy claimed that at the time he was rescued by police, Bradley and Tammi had kept Jordan away from her for two years.
