Brittney says she thinks high school is a “joke,” so she dropped out after failing ninth grade. But the 16-year-old says, “I feel like I have a bright future ahead of me.”

The teen says she’s going to go to school to get her GED. “It counts just as much as a high school diploma,” she says, adding that she has plans to go to college for cosmetology and crime scene investigation. She also says she wants to be a YouTube star and has three channels already.

When her parents, Tim and Kimber, with whom she has a rocky relationship, tell Dr. Phil they’re surprised to hear that the teen has career ambitions, Brittney fires back.

“They’re not a part of my life; they’re not going to be a part of my future. My dad is. That one over there is not,” Brittney says, referring to her mom whom she calls by her first name because she says she doesn’t “see her as a mom.”

“She’s a psychopath,” Brittney continues. “I honestly wish she would be locked away, throw away the key, never come back ever again.”
