“My relationship with my mom is toxic and dysfunctional,” says Marie. “She makes me feel like I’m not her daughter.”

Claiming that her mother, Jennifer, puts everyone and everything else before her and her sister, Carly, the 15-year-old insists that Jennifer would rather call the police, or ship her off to her grandmother’s house, than deal with her.

“I get mad that she doesn’t care, so I show her how much I care by popping off on her,” says Marie. She says she’s been traumatized and is tired of feeling abandoned by her mother.

Jennifer says she’s afraid of Marie, who she claims smokes marijuana every day, has run away from home around 20 times, and gets physically aggressive with her.

What will it take for Jennifer and Marie to repair their relationship?
