“I’m not from the hood, but I kick it with the homies,” says Gabe. “I can’t say that I’m from the gang, but I kick it with all the homies from the gang.”

The 15-year-old describes what he says he does during the day with his “homies,” which includes drinking and smoking weed, in the video above. The teen, who has spent 494 days in juvenile detention, claims he’s been shot at three times – and his lifestyle is causing conflict with his parents.

“My mom, basically, turned me into my PO. She would just snitch me out all the time … What mom snitches out their own kid all the time?” Gabe says. “My dad is more understanding than my mom.”
