It has been nearly five months since Summer Wells, a 5-year-old from rural Hawkins County, Tennessee, disappeared from her parents’ home, seemingly without a trace. Summer’s parents, Don and Candus, say they believe their daughter was abducted but insist they don’t know who would take her or why.

Reportedly, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has called the search for Summer “outside the norm” and says the circumstances surrounding the child’s disappearance remain unclear.
