Yesse says she was arrested for a crime that she didn’t commit after asking for help from the police when she discovered her shattered car window in a parking lot. She claims the police failed to consider the evidence that established her innocence, arrested her, and violated her rights.
When Yesse was arrested and taken to the police station, she says she was forced to strip naked and give blood, although the officer refused to show her a warrant. See the police cam video, and hear Yesse’s attorney, Benjamin Taylor’s, thoughts on the encounter and why he calls it an “assault.”
On Thursday’s episode of Dr. Phil, "My Mugshot is Ruining My Life," see more of the footage from Yesse’s arrest. And, hear how Yesse claims the charges were finally dropped – and Dr. Phil’s advice for dealing with the police. Check local listings to see where you can tune in.
