“Sometimes, we’ll make a bad choice in our life, and it doesn’t seem so profound. But here’s the problem, you make a bad choice, and it compounds itself, days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, months turn into years, and then you look back and go, ‘Oh, my God. My life has gone by with me working toward something I don’t want,” Dr. Phil says. “You realize you’re not making active choices; you’ve become a passenger.”
