As of March 30, 2020, the governors of at least 30 states and the District of Columbia have implemented stay at home orders for the residents of their jurisdictions to slow the spread of COVID-19. If you are in a state that does not currently have one of those orders, it may be coming soon.

“It is absolutely critical to listen to public officials and adhere to these new guidelines,” says Dr. Phil, who has been recording new episodes of Dr. Phil from his kitchen table for several weeks while isolating at home with his wife, Robin.

Continuing, he says, “We all must do our part to control the spread of this virus and flatten that curve, so we don’t overwhelm the hospitals, and can return to our normal lives.”

Many celebrities and their partners are setting an example for the general public by practicing self-isolation. Some are doing it because they have been exposed to coronavirus and don’t want to spread it to others, and some, because they’re trying to avoid being exposed at all.
