Nicolette says that throughout her childhood, her mom raised her with “everything I’ve ever wanted.” She says this included giving her thousands of dollars a month – which she spends on designer purses and shoes -- sending her to the best schools, and providing her with a personal trainer and a driver. Now, the 15-year-old says her mom wants to cut her monthly allowance, which used to be $5,000, to $1,000 – and she won’t stand for it.

“I want my mom to understand that I can’t live off of $1,000 a month. And I grew up on a certain lifestyle; she can’t just take that away from me immediately,” Nicolette tells Dr. Phil on Friday’s episode. “It’s all I ever know. I can’t deal with this, and so I came to you for help.”

“What would be the home run for you?” Dr. Phil asks the teen.

“I need her to understand that I need at least $2,500 a month,” she replies.
