The Snead’s son, JT, says he met Cruz through JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps). He says he reached out to Cruz. “He needed help and I was giving it to him.” WATCH: Dr Phil Reviews Personality Traits And Behaviors Exhibited By School Shooters
“Were you aware that kids regarded him as being kind of weird and out there,” Dr. Phil asks JT on Wednesday’s episode.
“Kind of, yeah,” JT responds. “A handful of people told me. I didn’t really see it because that’s not the Nik I knew.”
JT says he was furious and heartbroken when he learned that Cruz had been accused of the February 14th shooting that killed 17 students and faculty and injured 15 more at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High. “Nobody should go through that. Nobody,” he says.
